What is Mediation?

Commercial disputes can be costly, time and energy consuming.  Have you considered an alternative to litigation?  Mediation is a cheaper, faster way to resolve disputes.

Choosing Your Mediator

Asha is an experienced and accredited mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC), a gazetted mediation service provider in Singapore. She was appointed Associate Mediator at the SMC in 2014.   She is regularly called upon to mediate commercial disputes.

In 2016, Asha was appointed Court Volunteer Mediator at the State Courts of Singapore.
Asha is regularly called upon to impart her mediation skills.
  • She is a coach at Singapore Mediation Centre accreditation workshops, assisting with role-play sessions and giving feedback to mediation students.
  • She has coached law graduates sitting for their Part B of the Singapore Bar Examinations (Mediation Elective) as well as law students who competing at ICC Mediation competitions.
  • Asha has been a judge at several ICC Asia Pacific commercial mediation competitions.

Types of Disputes

Asha is available to mediate most types of commercial disputes.  Due to her background in technology and domain names as well as her experience with tech startups, Asha is also well placed to mediate Intellectual Property and tech startup co-founder disputes.

Where to Mediate

In Singapore, disputes can be mediated at the Singapore Mediation Centre or privately.  Asha is also available to mediate disputes in Hong Kong and other countries in Asia.
